Menstrual Hygiene Day

Today, a seminar was organized on the occasion of World Menstrual Hygiene Day at SD Girls Senior Secondary School (Lal School), Jakampura jointly by Samashray Foundation and Nari Shakti Club.
In the seminar, Dr. Kanika Wadhwa ji apprised the girl students about important information related to good health and cleanliness. In which he kept the nutritional and emotional aspects related to Menstrual and General Hygiene and cleared the confusion of the students by answering the myth questions related to it.
Along with this, Mrs. Vaishali ji did Yoga and Ms. Ketki ji made the students aware by giving tests related to Good Touch Bad Touch. Along with this, Tejashwi and Namya made a period box and explained its uses during an emergency.

Samashray Foundation has so far given free training and seminars to more than 1000 girl students on sensitive topics like Menstrual Hygiene and Good Touch Bad Touch along with distribution of sanitary pads to more than 2000 needy women, during which they have been advised not to use cloth and advised to take help from the Health Accessories Bank of the Samashray Foundation whenever required.
The chairman of Samashray Foundation, Mr. Rajat Bhardwaj, while thanking all the great people who together helped the institution financially, said that the mentality of charity has been a part of our Indian culture and society.
